Cunning beats Brawn every time. What a thought-provoking question; is one born a Ninja, or do they choose to be a Ninja? Well, I believe that there are remarkably few being trained from birth these days and, similarly, there are few who come out of the womb wearing black footy pajamas and face masks. Yet just the same, I would say that one is, in a sense, born a ninja. Because there is something inherent in a person that makes that path appeal to them; not everyone is willing to make the first step of that long and perilous journey. Even fewer have the perseverance necessary to follow through for the remainder.

The Ninja, in the modern world, is less a profession, and more a totem. It is a calling.
